Policy Roundtable

NEET Prevention in the Southwest

6th February 2025

This roundtable discussion will bring together 50 representatives from Local Authorities and partner organisations across to the Southwest to focus on tackling NEET in the region. We will draw on the findings from our 3-year EU-funded study and our partners’ professional expertise to explore how these insights can inform and support national policy recommendations to reduce NEET outcomes and reflect region-specific challenges. After facilitating a dialogue around priority actions to reduce NEET outcomes and considering the opportunities, limitations and clarifications needed on current / emerging policy,  we will co-produce a set of recommendations for wider dissemination.
